This policy explains how Hedlyn collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when people discover talent, book live gigs, perform, message, and receive payments through our services.
Effective August 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Hedlyn is operated by It’s Called Arena. This policy applies to the Hedlyn mobile applications, hedlyn.com, and related services we control (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Hedlyn, we may collect:
Account information, including your name, email address, login credentials, account role, and authentication provider.
Profile and marketplace information, including your photo, biography, city, genres, instruments, performance details, goals, rates, availability, and other content you choose to publish.
Booking and gig information, including event details, venue or location, dates, budgets, applications, contracts, status updates, reviews, and disputes.
Messages and media you exchange through Hedlyn, including text, voice recordings, and images.
Location information, including approximate marketplace location and, when you grant permission, precise location used for features such as verified event check-in.
Verification information, including check-in time, location, and a selfie when you use event verification features.
Payment and subscription information. Payment card, identity-verification, and bank-account details are collected by payment providers such as Stripe or the applicable app store. Hedlyn receives related identifiers, transaction status, subscription status, payout status, and limited payment details.
Device and technical information, including push-notification tokens, device or browser type, IP address, application version, diagnostics, and security logs.
Support communications and any other information you send to us.

3. How we use information

We use information to:
Create and secure accounts and authenticate users.
Operate the talent marketplace, including discovery, applications, bookings, messaging, reviews, event verification, payments, refunds, and payouts.
Provide performer subscription benefits and verify subscription status.
Send service, booking, message, payment, security, and support communications.
Personalize and improve the Services, troubleshoot problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.
Comply with legal obligations and protect Hedlyn, our users, and others.

4. How information is disclosed

We may disclose information:
To other users as needed to provide marketplace features. For example, public profiles, gig posts, applications, booking details, reviews, and messages are shown to the relevant participants.
To service providers that process information for us, including Supabase for authentication, databases, file storage, and realtime features; Stripe for payments and payouts; RevenueCat for subscription management; Apple and Google for authentication, app distribution, and in-app purchases; Expo for application services; and Vercel for web hosting.
To mapping and location providers when you use maps, search, or location features.
When required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the Services.
In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
With your direction or consent.
Hedlyn does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Public content and communications

Information you publish to a profile, performer listing, gig, promotion, or review may be visible to other users or the public. Messages, booking records, check-in selfies, and precise check-in locations are not intended to be public and are limited to authorized participants, service providers, and Hedlyn personnel with a business need.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. Deleting your account removes or de-identifies information that we no longer need, but some records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

7. Your privacy choices

You can update profile information, manage device permissions and notifications, manage subscriptions through Apple or Google, and delete your account from Hedlyn Settings. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information, subject to applicable law.

8. Children

Hedlyn is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Hedlyn and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
